This is based on the time required and the number of revisions needed to ensure you are completely happy with the design. For smaller yards, we may be able to provide a free design with a consultation. We recommend starting with a free consultation with one of our project managers to determine the best option for your project.

During this consultation, we want to understand your vision and how you plan to use your yard. We'll ask about your lifestyle—whether you have kids or pets, if you love to entertain, or if low-maintenance is a priority. We will also evaluate the size and scope of your yard to determine if a free design is an option or if a more comprehensive design with our professional landscape designer is needed. We'll also discuss your budget, as it's a critical element in creating a design that is both beautiful and achievable.

Once a comprehensive design is needed, we'll start with a deposit (typically $750). Our professional landscape designer will then meet with you and the Project Manager to review your ideas, take measurements, and capture photos. After about a week, she will provide a rough draft of the design for your feedback. We welcome revisions to ensure the design perfectly matches your vision. Once the design is approved, our designer will provide a final PDF of the plan, along with 3D renderings to help you visualize the finished project.

A comprehensive design plan with our professional landscape designer typically takes about two weeks. For very large or complex designs, it may take 3-4 weeks. The timeline can also depend on how quickly a customer is able to provide feedback during the revision process.

Within 2-5 days of a design being finalized, your Project Manager will provide a detailed, itemized quote. Each item on the design plan—such as a new patio, lawn, irrigation system, or plantings—will have its own quote that details the material and labor costs. This allows you to easily make adjustments to the project and remove any items if you need to adjust your budget. The quote will also include our current availability, the project duration, and all warranty information.

We offer regular landscape maintenance programs to keep your new landscape looking great. For customers who prefer to manage their own maintenance, we provide detailed digital guides (Paver Patio Care, New Sod Lawn Care, etc.) with photos and descriptions to help you care for your new landscape on your own. We even offer an ROI guide so you can understand the expected resale value of your new features.
